I followed the How-To above, but when I hit apply the server address  wireless access, I plugged the modem into my old Trendnet TEW-731BR. The TEW-827DRU router I received is lacking features that I saw in the PCMag review. So I did some investigating. I now know that the PCMag review was of "Version v1.0R" of the TEW-827DRU router. That version is discontinued, and I got a Version v2.0R unit. Here's what v2 is lacking: it does not have StreamBoost™, no WiFi On/Off button, no LED On/Off button and only one USB 3.0 port. But I'm an EE and i needed a fast bridge, and it was $17 and runs DD-WRT, so i figured I would see if I could get it working, bad reviews be damned. Well, i tried it with the latest 10.0 Trendnet firmware as well as the latest build of DD-WRT and even the older build that is on trendnet's own website.
